C Is for Cookie

I thought I would be getting off cheap by making my Christmas gifts for the people I work with, but holy shit these have been a ton of work.

They look ok but taste like HEAVEN.  I made everything from scratch, including the icing.  Food TV is my friend.

I put in about six hours making 4 dozen cookies and two batches of fudge.  Next year, I'm thinking gift cards...

Also, check out the pics for some pictures from Ice!, again pretentious exclamation point is NOT mine.

Sneaking into your house.......reaching out and nabbing several cookies......tasting them.........YUM!! They not only look & taste good but are laying on nice clean sheets of wax paper. I'm so impressed with your talent! Anyone who has slaved over making cookies will appreciate them tremendously. I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading your blog. The other night I laughed until I cried over your wedding announcement. I can't wait for your next entry......you are funny, intelligent and immensely entertaining! Thank You for sharing Denise ;p

I love making Christmas cookies! But you are right does take a lot of work. I did the same thing one year. I got pretty Christmas tins and baked Christmas cookies and fudge. Goodness, that was tough and took forever! I took a break from making them for about two or three years but I think I might make a dozen or two this year. Yours look wonderful! Good job! ~ Fat Chick

HaHa...I've seen the Christmas cookie episode and the Making of the 12 Days of Cookies like every single freakin' time I turn on the TV. I do believe that at this point, I could make cookies in my sleep! ~Carrie =)
