Clearly, I'm a TV junkie. Summers usually piss me off because there's nothing on, but there have been a glut of new shows (mainly NON-broadcast channels) or returning shows. The Closer is back (fabulous show), Supergroup is now gone, but I loved it, Kyle XY, Saved, yadda yadda yadda.
One of my favorite summer shows, however, is Big Brother All Stars. If you're not familiar with the show or characters, visit here (you can actually watch the episodes online for free!).
I'm telling you, you have to watch this show. It will be the bomb this summer.
My only complaint so far is that there are too many people in the house right now. Once it gets down to 10 or less, it gets a lot more interesting.
The premise this year is the return of previous contestants. They had a group of 20 people that the public was allowed to vote in to the house. It was supposed to be 10, but they let in 14.
My mind is blurring right now, so I'll just throw out some quick things that stuck in my mind.
Janelle: Mmm, dirty little blond. Hot. She's tricky too...she looks weak and stupid, but she's brilliant and strong.
Howie: WTF happened to Howie in a year? He's looking all bloated and shit.
Kaysar: If you saw Kaysar in a crowded airplane, you'd be asking for a sky marshal. ALALALALALALAL. He's actually one of my favorite players.
Allison: C to the U to the N to the T. I hate her. She is a total "butter" face. Annoying as hell, but entertaining. I predict she'll be blowing someone in the confessional by the end of July...unless she's voted out this year.
James: He lisps like he gobbles cock for a living, but has a sneaky mind...
Jayce: A total tool...again, entertaining however. What the hell did he have in his swimming trunks last night? I wasn't even looking straight at him, but my eyes were drawn to what looked like 10lbs of turkey sausage stuffed into his shorts. WTF?
Again, my mind is a bit scattered because there's too much going on on the show right now. As it gets down to less people, I promise you some snarky commentary similar to this:
L: There you go Chris...Janelle's showing a bunch of nipple right now.
C: *snickering* How ironic that that comment comes from you.
L: What do you mean?
C: You're the one that goes to your parent's house or sister's house without a bra. It's like you're walking around with two gumdrops under your shirt.
L: You're an asshole...
So you're reading lance's account of tens of thousands of miles logged in on lonely texas highways, evil step-fathers and ADD-induced drive and dedication? Appropriate choice of books during the Tour...
My bro always takes his road bike when he visits his in-laws in San Antonio. Fun during christmas, pure torture in July. ........he's getting used to it, though. i think a fellow rider gave him a xanax......
I actually caught this episode but I’m really lost… I’ve never seen this before and I have absolutely no urge to watch the internet version of … what is it 5 seasons? No thanks.
I did enjoy all the back stabbing and shit so I might watch it again… still hasn’t grabbed me though. I think it’s because they end the show without kicking anyone off… it drags on too long. Kick someone off already.
I love Last Comic Standing. They get rid of them 2 at a time. Last episode they kicked a guy out for texting his girlfriend… stupid ass! I love that show!
Mt
being a spaz. I could kill the sex drive of a horny rinocerous with my stupid mouth.
and yes, I'm completely overthinking things.
okay, so he's sitting at the bar, drinking beer, doing some practice test for some apprenticeship accreditation thingy or another. so I say: 'you know when it comes time to take this test, you're gonna have to have an entire pitcher of beer in you so you're in the same frame of mind as you were when you learned this stuff.' he stated that he just planned to get up really early, presumably still buzzing from the night before, and get the test over with. i asked him if he could work like that, he said he could, and I responded: 'remind me to never occupy a building that you have wired.'
he shrugged, like: "whatever."
my son thought it was funny.........

I like to tune in to FX. The show Rescue Me is on Tuesday at 10pm. Great show. They have a new one called It's allways sunny in Philadelphia. I think it is on Thursday. It is really funny. Those seem to be the only shows I watch in the summer. I hate reruns so I don't watch them. If I saw it once, I don't want to watch it again.
